You can find Palav Synthetics Pvt. Ltd. over at Rathi Palace on the Ring Road. We are on the upper ground floor at B-108. Being right on the Ring Road makes it easy for transport but the noise of the traffic never really stops. Our space is mostly filled with rolls of synthetic fabrics and piles of paperwork. It is a busy environment because the textile market moves fast and we have to keep up. We are not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It is more about the inventory and getting the right colors and materials out to the people who need them. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking the stock levels against what the factory sent over. We have a few desks squeezed in between the racks. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a large shipment in. The staff here are locals who know the trade well. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just show the samples to whoever comes in and let the material speak for itself. It is a practical business and we have been at Rathi Palace for quite a few years now. The tea breaks are usually taken right there at the main table because there is always something to discuss about the latest patterns or the delivery schedules for the week. It gets a bit hectic but that is just textiles.
