P Mahant & Company is located in room 403 of the Lalbhai Contractor Complex on Nanpura Jiva Mahale Road. We are right opposite the library, which is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find us. This building has been here for quite some time, and you can tell by the way the stairs feel. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us working out of this office. We handle a lot of paperwork and meetings throughout the day. The view from the window isn't much, just the road and the library across the way, but it lets in some light. Most of the time, the office is filled with the sound of typing and phone calls. We’ve got files stacked up because there is always something to be done. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for us. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons. People come in with questions about their business or their papers, and we do our best to help them out. It’s a quiet life in a way, even with the traffic noise from outside. We don’t have a fancy reception desk; you just walk in and someone will talk to you. We've been in this spot for years and know most of the other people in the complex. It feels like a small community in this building.
