Om Shivay Lab Grown Gems Llp is based out of Katargam, which is a major area for anyone in the gem business. We have office 303 and 304 on the third floor of Lakshmi Enclave, right on Gajera Road. Katargam always has a certain energy to it, with so many workshops and offices tucked into every building. Our space is pretty functional. We combined two offices to have enough room for everyone to work comfortably. We deal mostly with lab-grown gems, so we spend a lot of our time looking at them under the lights. The building is usually full of people from other firms, so you always see someone you know in the stairs or by the gate. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR team. We just do our work and hope it speaks for itself. The traffic on Gajera Road can be a bit of a nightmare during the evening rush, but that's just Surat for you. Most of us have been in this line of work for years, so we know the ropes. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do a good job and keep our clients happy. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and focusing on the small details of the gems. We enjoy the local food from the stalls nearby during our lunch breaks and keep the business running.
