You can find Jm Gems at No. 33 in the Valam Complex. We are up on the 2nd floor, so you have to walk past the shops on the ground level and take the stairs. The complex is located in Bombay Colony, right on the Kapodra Varachha Road. It is a very busy area with a lot of traffic and people moving around all day. Being on the second floor gives us a little bit of distance from the dust of the main road. The room at number 33 is just big enough for our needs. We have some display cases and a couple of desks where we handle all our business. The lighting in the complex is okay, but we have added some extra bulbs to our space. We have been here for a while and have gotten to know the other people working in Valam Complex. It is a friendly enough place. Most of our day is spent looking at stones or talking to people who drop by. We keep a fan running all day because it can get quite stuffy in the afternoon. The noise from Kapodra Varachha Road is a constant background sound, but we don't really notice it anymore. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. When the day is over, we lock up the shutters and head down the stairs. It is just a regular job in a regular part of town, nothing fancy about it. We usually grab some street food nearby before heading home.
