New Alang Marine

New Alang Marine is based out of unit 56 in the Functional Estate on Road Number 6. This is in the Udhana Udyognagar area. If you’ve ever been to Udhana, you know it’s a place where things are made and broken down. We deal with marine parts and equipment. A lot of the stuff we have comes from old ships. It’s heavy, salty, and often covered in a bit of rust, but it’s solid material. The workshop is mostly open-air so we can move the bigger pieces around with the crane. It gets really hot under the tin roof during the summer months. We don’t wear uniforms or have a fancy reception area. Most of the time, we’re wearing old clothes that we don’t mind getting grease on. We spend our days sorting through valves, engines, and various bits of hardware that once belonged on the ocean. It’s interesting work if you like seeing how big machines are put together. We don't bother with much paperwork beyond what's necessary. People come to us when they need a specific part that you can't just find in a regular hardware store. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighbors are all doing similar industrial work. It’s a loud, busy part of town, but it suits us just fine. There's usually a truck loading up something or other. We keep busy.
