Drashti Fashion

If you head over to L. H. Road and look for Mayur Complex, you'll find us on the 3rd floor. That’s where Drashti Fashion is. Being up on the third floor means we have to carry everything up and down, which is a bit of a workout every day. Tirupati Society is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of sewing machines and people talking. We do a lot of clothes work here. There are fabrics everywhere, different colors and types of cloth stacked up in corners. It gets a bit dusty with all the thread and cutting, but we try to keep it tidy. We spend our hours mostly measuring, cutting, and getting things ready. It's a small team of us. We've known each other for a long time, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We drink a lot of chai while we work. People come up to the 3rd floor to pick up their orders or to drop off new ideas for what they want made. It isn't a big store or anything, just our workspace where the actual making happens. Sometimes it gets loud when the machines are all running at once, but we’re used to it. It's just a regular day at the complex for us and we just focus on getting the stitching right.
