Nandana Sarees

We have been here on the Mhada Film City Ring Road for quite a while now. Most people around this neighborhood know us for the sarees we keep in the shop. It is just a regular place, nothing too fancy or modern, but we try to have a good variety of fabrics for everyone who walks through the door. When you live and work around the Ring Road, you really get to know the locals and what they like to wear for family weddings or just their daily life at home. Nandana Sarees started because we liked the different fabrics and wanted to bring them to this specific part of town. Sometimes it gets really busy, especially during the festival seasons, and the shop can feel a bit crowded with all the boxes piled up, but we always manage to find what people need. We are not a big chain or anything like that, just a local spot where you can sit down on the stools and look at all the different colors. If you are driving past the Mhada area, you will probably see our sign out front. We spend most of our days folding and unfolding long stacks of cloth to show people how the material drapes. It is hard work on the legs, standing all day, but it is what we do. We try to keep things simple. No big speeches, just sarees on the shelves and a bit of honest conversation with the customers.
