Monghiba High School For Girls

Our school is tucked away on Umra Gam Road, right near Labhde Society in the Umra area of Surat. It’s a high school specifically for girls, and we’ve been part of this community for years. The building is just a normal school building, nothing too flashy. If you walk by in the morning, you’ll see the students arriving in their uniforms, chatting away before the first bell. It’s a pretty steady routine here. We have classrooms, a staff room where the teachers gather to drink tea and plan their lessons, and a bit of space for the girls to gather during their breaks. It gets quite busy when school lets out and everyone is heading home toward the main road. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or modern art on the walls. Instead, you'll find old wooden desks and blackboards that have seen better days but still do the job. The staff here is mostly focused on keeping the classes on track and making sure the building stays clean and safe. It’s a local place through and through. We know the neighbors and they know us. There’s no big corporate office behind us; it’s just us running the school day by day. Sometimes things break or we run out of supplies, but we just figure it out and keep going. It’s just a regular part of life here in Umra for all of us who work and study in this building.
