Monastic English School

You can find Monastic English School over by Navjivan Circle, where U M Road and Bhatar Road meet. It's a busy intersection in Surat, so there's always a lot of movement around us. The school has been part of this area for a good while. Every morning, the buses and rickshaws drop off the kids, and the whole place comes alive. It’s not one of those huge, spread-out campuses; we make the most of the space we have here. The classrooms are full of desks and posters that the students made. You can hear the teachers talking and the younger kids reciting their lessons if you walk down the hall. We try to keep things simple. It’s about getting the work done and making sure the kids are where they need to be. The staff spends a lot of time organizing schedules and making sure the building stays in decent shape. It gets quite noisy during recess when everyone is out in the common areas, which is just part of the deal with a school. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-tech. We’re just a local English school where families from the Surat area send their children. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy outside on the road, but we just deal with it and keep the school day moving along like usual. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do here every day to keep the place running for the kids.
