Mohitewasti School

We are located in Parvati Nagar, right by Lalita Chowk in the Katargam area of Surat. Mohitewasti School is a local school that’s been serving the community here for a while. The area around Lalita Chowk is usually quite active, so there’s a lot of energy around the school. We have children from various backgrounds coming here to learn. The classrooms are simple and functional. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we use every corner for teaching and activities. The staff consists of people who genuinely care about the kids getting an education. It’s a lot of chalk and talk, really. We focus on the basics and making sure the students can read, write, and do their math. There’s a rhythm to the day, starting with the morning assembly and ending when the final bell rings in the afternoon. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is moving between classes, but we manage. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just rely on the local families knowing we are here. It’s a practical place for learning. Most of our students live just a few streets away. We like being a part of the Parvati Nagar neighborhood. It’s just a regular school doing its part in Surat, making sure the next generation has a place to study and grow without having to go too far from their homes.
