Mohammadi Girls Urdu High School

Our school is located at number 44 in Sahyog Society. We are right on Sumul Dairy Road in Surat, which is a very well-known landmark in the 395003 area. Being inside a society means it is a bit more tucked away from the main road traffic, which is helpful for a school. The building is a standard house-style structure that we have converted to fit our classrooms. It has a bit of a homey feel because of where it is situated. We have the girls coming in from all over the local neighborhood. Sumul Dairy Road is always busy with milk trucks and people going to work, but once you turn into Sahyog Society, it gets a lot more residential and quiet. We have been here for a long time, and the neighbors all know us. The girls have their space to study Urdu and their other subjects. It is a simple setup with basic furniture and green boards. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we manage just fine. The small yard out front is where everyone gathers before the bell rings. We focus on the basics of education and keeping a steady routine for the students. It is a community effort really, and being in a society like Sahyog makes it feel like we are part of the local families' lives. We just keep things moving along year after year and try to stay organized.
