Mayank Traders

We are located in Surat, specifically at 11/553 in the Talavala Pole area. It’s a very traditional part of the city, right opposite the Simandhar Swami Jain Temple. The lanes here are quite narrow, so getting large vehicles in can be a real headache. Most of the time, we have to move goods by hand or on small carts. We trade in various items, and our day revolves around the temple timings. When the temple is busy, the street is packed, and it’s hard to even walk. We’ve grown used to the sound of temple bells and the smell of incense floating in. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a lot of registers. We don’t care about making things look fancy; we just focus on the actual trades. We talk to people from all over the city who come here specifically because they know this area is a hub for business. Surat is a fast-paced city, but in this old pole, things feel a little slower and more personal. We know our neighbors well, and we often help each other out when someone is short-handed. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from here, but once you do, you’ll see we’re just regular people working hard. There’s no big secret to what we do; we just show up every day and do our best.
