Gurukrupa

Our place, Gurukrupa, is located at Amroli Shankarsheth Road 9. It is a local spot that has been around the neighborhood for a good while. We don't really do anything flashy here. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and talking to the people who live nearby. The street outside, Shankarsheth Road, gets quite busy with folks going to work or school. We open up the shutters every morning and start setting things out. It is a simple setup with wooden shelves and a small counter where we handle everything. We know most of the people who come through the door by their first names. It is that kind of place. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to spend the evening unpacking boxes. The lighting inside is just regular fluorescent bulbs, and the floor is simple tile that we mop every night. We don’t have a big marketing team or a website; we just rely on the fact that we are here on the corner when someone needs something. The walls have a few old calendars hanging on them. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we have a ceiling fan that hums away. It’s just a regular part of the Amroli area, and we are happy to keep the doors open for anyone who stops by. We just do things the old-fashioned way and try to keep the shelves stocked for everyone.
