Shyam Traders

Our place, Shyam Traders, is at 19, Laxmi Narayan Nagar, which is right near the Sukh Sagar Apartment in Pandesara. It’s a convenient spot because it’s easy to give people directions. We have a medium-sized warehouse where we keep all our trading goods. The space is usually organized, but during the busy season, it can get a bit cluttered with boxes and crates. We have a small desk near the window where we handle all the phone calls and invoices. Pandesara is a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement, so there is always someone passing by or stopping in for a chat. We’ve been here for several years now and we know most of the people who live in the apartments nearby. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. We just try to be fair and keep our word when we say something is available. The light in the warehouse isn't the best, so we often leave the big front doors open to let the sun in. It’s a simple way to work, and it keeps us connected to what's happening on the street. We take our breaks together and talk about anything other than work for a few minutes. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy enough. We’re just a local business trying to do things right.
