Sagar Aluminium

We started our small shop in Katargam B 2 a few years back. Working with aluminium takes up all our time. Usually, it's making window frames or doors or just cutting sections of metal that people need for their own projects at home. It is a small place, so it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of material delivered at once. We spend hours every day just cutting, measuring, and then cutting some more. The machines are pretty loud, but you stop noticing the noise after a couple of months of working here. People from the local neighborhood often stop by just to ask about small repairs or to get a piece of metal for a DIY job. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It’s just a workshop where the floor gets covered in silver metal shavings by lunchtime. We try to sweep it all up every evening, but by the next morning, it’s back again. If you come to see us, you will mostly find us busy with the saws or drills. It is honest, tiring work. We don't really use the computer much except for basic things. Every order that comes in is slightly different, which is good because it stops us from getting bored. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and talk, but other days we can't even find time for a tea break. We just handle it as it comes. It's a local business and we know the regulars well.
