We are up on the first floor, right above Bajrang Hardware in the Gajanand Society. You have to walk up the stairs past the hardware stuff to get to us. Being at Yogi Chowk means it is always busy outside, with people moving around and cars honking, but once you are inside the classroom, it feels a bit different. We have been running things here in Vibhag-1 for a bit now. The rooms are basic—just some desks, chairs, and the boards we use for writing out the lessons. We don’t use any complicated technology, just books and talk. In the evenings, the light comes in through the windows in a certain way that makes the place feel quite calm, despite the noise from the road. We see a lot of students from the nearby houses who just walk over after they have had their snacks. Usually, we are just helping them get through their daily school assignments or preparing for the next big test. Sometimes we sit with a student for an hour just on one single problem until they finally get it. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just some old charts and maybe a calendar. It is a practical space meant for working. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just provide a place where kids from the Yogi Chowk area can come and get their studying done without distractions from home.
