Mahir Aquaculture Private Limited

We are over in the Dindoli area of Surat, right on Karadva Road. Our office is part of Shraddha Society, house A-69. It is a residential neighborhood mostly, so it is a bit quieter than the main industrial zones of the city. We focus on aquaculture. That means a lot of time thinking about water, fish, and tanks. It started because a few of us saw an opportunity to do something different with the land around here. It is not always easy work. You have to watch the levels every day, and if something goes wrong, you lose your stock. I have had many nights where I couldn't sleep because I was worried about the pumps or the oxygen. We aren't some huge company with a thousand employees. It is just us, a few local guys who know how to handle fish. We spend our days checking the nets and making sure the feed is right. The office is just a place for us to keep our licenses and do the taxes. Most of the real work happens outside. People from the society often stop by to see what we are doing. We don't mind. It is a local business and we like being part of the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy website or any marketing. We just sell what we grow and try to keep the quality decent for the buyers who come to us. It is hard work but we like it.
