If you are looking for M C D Higher Secondary School Of Seventh-Day Adven, we are over at Athwa Lines in Surat. It’s a bit of a mouthful, the name, so we usually just say the school. Our mail goes to Post Bax 24, which is how we’ve done it for ages. The area around Athwa Lines is quite busy these days. We have a decent sized building and some space for the students to run around. It’s an older place, so there’s always something that needs fixing, like a creaky door or a window that won’t shut right. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the administrative staff trying to keep things organized. The weather in Surat gets really hot, so the fans are always going in the classrooms. We have a lot of history here, but we don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just a school where kids come to learn their lessons. You’ll find us easily enough if you follow the road down towards the post office area. The daily routine is pretty standard. We have the morning assembly, then classes, then lunch. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s worked for a long time. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
