If you've ever been to the New Bombay Market, you know how hectic it can get. That’s where you’ll find Leelawati Creation, specifically in units A-1101 and 1102. We’ve been here in the middle of all the noise and cloth for a long time. It’s a big market, and it’s easy to get lost, but we like the energy of it. Our space is usually packed with fabric rolls and sketches. It’s not a quiet place at all. There are always people coming in and out, and the sound of the market is just part of the background. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and making sure the colors are right. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and we end up eating dinner at our desks. It’s not exactly a glamorous fashion house; it’s more of a workshop where we actually make things happen. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen what we do. We try to keep things honest and just focus on the quality of what we make. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out right, and we have to start over. That’s just the way it goes. We’re just a small part of the big market, doing our best every day. We usually close up shop late and start again early the next morning.
