Krishna Textile Engineering

Down here on S.P. Road No.5 in Udyog Nagar, things are always moving. Our place is Plot No.19, right in the middle of all the Udhna industrial noise. You can smell the machine oil and the hot metal as soon as you turn the corner. It is an old building, nothing much to look at from the outside, but it is sturdy enough for what we do. We spend the whole day looking at gears and spindles and trying to make sure everything runs smooth for the clients. Engineering in the textile sector involves a lot of greasy hands and heavy lifting. I have been in Udhna Udyog Nagar for years now, and I have seen a lot of shops open and close, but we just keep at it. The floor is stained from decades of work, and the shelves are packed with spare parts that I have probably forgotten the names of. We don't have a fancy showroom for people. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come into the workshop and watch us work on the machines. It gets very loud, so you have to shout a bit over the lathe machines to be heard. My brothers and I run the floor mostly. We don't use big words or try to act like we are a corporate office. We are just engineers who know how to fix things when they break. The tea breaks are short, and the days are long, but that is how you get things done.
