Shayama Textile Engineering

Our workshop is over in Udhana at Shed No. 28-29 in the Solapur Compound on Road No-6. It’s a loud place with all the machines running but that is how we like it. Shayama Textile Engineering has been around for some time now and we mostly spend our days looking at gears and fixing parts for the textile mills. The floor usually has a bit of oil on it and there’s always a pile of metal scraps somewhere. We aren't trying to be fancy here. We just show up every morning and get to work on whatever needs fixing. Udhana is a tough area for work but we have good neighbors in the other sheds. Sometimes we share tools or help each other out when a job is too big for one shop. It’s hot in the summer under the tin roof but the fans help a little. We have a few guys who have been with us for a long time and they know the machines better than anyone. We don’t have a big front office or anything, just the workbench and the tools. If you need to find us, just look for Road No-6. Most of the local drivers know where the Solapur Compound is. It’s a busy life but it keeps us moving and we don't plan on changing much about how we do things. We just keep our heads down and work until the sun goes down.
