Kalyan Textile Engineering Works

We’ve been running Kalyan Textile Engineering Works for a good while now. Our shop is located in Surat, right near the Vansfoda Pool area. If you know the bridge, you know where we are. It’s a busy part of town, lots of traffic and noise, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend most of our days working on various textile machinery parts. It’s honest work, getting our hands greasy and making sure the looms and other equipment keep moving. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, especially during the summer months, but we just keep at it. We aren't fancy people. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know their way around a lathe and can fix things that others might just throw away. Most of our customers are local folks from the neighborhood who’ve been coming to us for a long time. They stop by, have a quick chat about the work, and then we get to it. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the floor where the machines are and a small desk for the paperwork. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes with metal scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. That's just the way a real workshop looks when people are actually working. If you need something looked at, just head towards the pool and look for our sign.
