I’m located over at 218 Kadodara on L J Road. It’s a familiar spot if you live near Barod. My place is right there on the main stretch, so I see the same faces walking by every morning. It’s a modest setup, nothing too grand. I’ve got my desk, some chairs for people to sit, and a lot of papers that seem to pile up no matter how much I organize them. The front door stays open most of the time to let a bit of air in, though it brings in the dust from the road too. People stop by to chat or ask about business, and I just handle things as they come. It’s a one-man show mostly, or just a couple of us helping out. The neighborhood is pretty lively, especially in the evenings when the shops around here start lighting up. I’ve been at this Kadodara address for a while now, so the neighbors all know me. I usually start my day early with a cup of tea and start going through what needs to be done. Sometimes the phone rings all day, other times it’s quiet enough to actually get through the paperwork. I don’t have any fancy signs or big ads out front. Just the name and the address. It’s a simple way to work, being right here in the heart of the community. When I’m done for the day, I just pull the shutter down and head home. It is a quiet life but it keeps me busy.
