You can find Kiran Power Tools right on the 4 Ring Road. We are just by the Gandhi Smruti Bhavan. If you look across the street, you’ll see the Surat People'S Corporative Bank. Our shop is usually packed with boxes and tools. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stock. We’ve been here in Surat for a while. People know the location well. Sometimes the traffic on Ring Road is a real nightmare, but it brings people by. We spend the day showing folks how the different drills and saws work. We get dust on everything. It’s just the nature of the business. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place to get what you need. We talk to a lot of contractors and DIY people. Everyone has a different problem they’re trying to fix. We listen and try to find the right tool for them. Sometimes we run out of tea in the afternoon. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical store. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s steady work. We just keep at it day after day here at the shop. The floor needs a sweep pretty often but it just gets dirty again. That is just part of it.
