Kharsoli Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our setup is right at House No 171 here in Kharsoli. It’s basically just a house that we use to run the farmers producer company. A lot of the local farmers come by to talk about what they are growing and how the market is looking. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area. You usually just walk in and find someone sitting at a wooden desk with a pile of papers. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we are trying to organize the fertilizer or seed orders. Kharsoli Farmers Producer Company Limited was started because we wanted to have a bit more control over our own lives instead of just selling to middle men all the time. It is a slow process and we are still learning how to handle all the paperwork the government requires. The house is always busy during the morning hours. We try to help each other out with equipment and advice. It’s not a high-tech operation. We just use what we have and try to make things work. Sometimes the rain messes up our plans and we have to sit around and wait. It’s a simple life and we aren’t trying to pretend it’s anything else.
