Ketul Classes

You can find Ketul Classes over at Ashirwad Park in the Bathena area of Udhna. We are at unit U 21. It’s a bit of a walk into the complex, but it’s a nice enough spot once you get there. We’ve been here for a while, and the people around Jeevanjyot usually know where our door is. We started this because there weren't many places nearby for kids to get extra help without traveling too far into the city. The classroom is just a basic room with some fans and several boards. It’s not air-conditioned or anything like that, so it can get a bit warm in the summer months. We just open the windows and keep going with the lesson. We don't have a big corporate structure or managers. It’s just a local operation. We know most of the parents by their first names because they live just a few streets away from us. The kids come here, do their work, and then head home for dinner. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just good old textbooks and writing things down on paper. Sometimes we have to remind the kids to stop talking and focus on their math, but that’s just how it goes with students. It’s a steady routine for us. We show up, the kids show up, and we work through the syllabus together. It’s a very local, neighborhood kind of thing. We aren't trying to be anything more than a place to study. Most days are busy but good.
