Kay Bee Electricals

Our shop, Kay Bee Electricals, sits right by Kim Char Rasta on Gheekanta Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles moving through the intersection all day. You can hear the horns honking from morning until late at night. The shop itself is filled with rolls of wire, switches, and all kinds of electrical parts stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because the boxes get moved around. The floors are concrete and get a bit dusty from the road outside, so we have to sweep a couple of times a day. We’ve been here at address 41092 for quite some time, and most of the people who stop by are locals or electricians from nearby projects. It isn’t a very big place, and the lighting inside could be better, but it works for what we need. I usually sit on a wooden stool behind the counter while waiting for the next person to walk in. There’s a small tea stall just a few doors down that makes the best ginger tea, which helps on the slow afternoons. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the sign above the door and the word of mouth from people in the area. It's a simple life running a shop like this, just dealing with the daily traffic and making sure the inventory is okay. We stay open until the sun goes down.
