Prayosha Fashion is located on the ground floor of Agarwal Mill, right on Vastadevdi Road in Katargam. Being across from the SMS godown means there are always trucks moving around and a lot of noise from the street. We are also quite close to Kiran Hospital and SRK Circle, so the area is never really quiet. The shop itself is at Plot No. 101/04. It’s a practical workspace where we spend most of our hours. There is always a lot of fabric lying around and the sound of machines if you listen closely. We don’t really go for anything flashy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy with the work to worry about that right now. People stop by because they know where we are, not because of a big billboard. Working in Katargam has its own rhythm. You get used to the dust and the heat after a while. We have a few chairs for people to sit if they have to wait, but usually, it’s just us moving things from one side of the room to the other. It’s a grounded kind of life here. We start when the sun comes up and stay until the work is done for the day. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby when things get slow. It’s just a regular fashion business trying to keep up with the daily orders in a busy part of town.
