Our place is at 38 Sai Kutir Society, right on the Udhna Magdalla Road in the Vesu area of Surat. We focus on natural agriculture, which means we try to avoid using all those heavy chemicals. It’s more of a personal passion for us that turned into a small business. Our office is basically part of the house, and our backyard is usually full of compost piles and different plants we are trying to grow naturally. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes the neighbors probably wonder what we’re up to with all the dirt and bugs. We don't have a big staff, just family and a few friends who help out. We aren't looking to grow into a giant company. We just want to show that the old ways of farming still have a place today. It’s a lot more manual labor, like pulling weeds by hand instead of spraying them. Sometimes we lose a whole crop because we didn't want to use pesticides, which is a bit depressing but it’s part of the deal. Most people hear about us from their friends. We don't have any shiny brochures or a marketing plan. We’re just regular people who think the soil should be treated better. If you’re ever in Vesu, you’ll probably find us outside working in the dirt. It’s a slow pace of life, but we like it that way.
