Joy Institute

Joy Institute is tucked away in Nav Mangalam Apartment on Citylight Road. Our units are U-17 and 18. We are quite close to the Reliance Fresh, which is a busy spot in this part of Surat. The apartment building itself has been around for a while. You have to head up to find us. The stairs are usually fine, but some people prefer the lift when it's working well. Inside, the rooms are fairly plain. We didn't spend a lot on fancy decorations because we wanted to keep things functional. There are desks and chairs arranged for the people who come here. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the peak hours in the late afternoon. You can hear the sounds of the city outside, but it’s mostly just background noise to us now. We keep a clock on the wall that ticks a bit loud. The light coming through the windows is nice in the morning hours. We've got our routine down. One of us usually arrives early to open the shutters and let some air in. It’s just a standard place for study and work. We don’t really do big meetings or anything; it’s mostly just one-on-one or small groups. If you're familiar with the Citylight area, you’ve probably passed by our building many times without thinking much about it. We are just another part of the neighborhood here. We've been at this for a long time.
