Jignesh D Surti is the name on the door here at 218 Golemandi Road within the Intercity Complex. It’s a fairly plain office, nothing like the big glass buildings you see in other parts of the city. We’ve been here for a good while now, and we’ve seen the complex go through a lot of changes. Golemandi Road is always bustling with people and traffic, so there is never a dull moment outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks that come our way. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us sitting at our desks surrounded by stacks of papers and folders. We’ve never been much for marketing or trying to sound more important than we are. Most of the people who come to see us are locals or folks who heard about us from a neighbor. We just do the work as it comes and try to stay organized, though some days the paperwork gets ahead of us. It’s a simple setup, and it works for what we need. We aren’t trying to be the biggest business in the complex. We just want to do our jobs and head home at the end of the day like everyone else. It’s a practical way of doing things that has suited us just fine over the years. We like the local vibe and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
