Jay Ambe Garden Service

Jay Ambe Garden Service is based out of a spot on Udhna Main Road, right near Nuri Masgid. Since we do garden work, we aren't always in the office. Usually, we are out at someone's house or a business lot across town. But this is where we keep all the mowers, shears, and bags of fertilizer. The place smells like damp earth and cut grass most of the time. We have a small shed-like area where we fix the equipment when it breaks down, which happens more than we’d like given how old some of it is. Being near the mosque means we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a nice rhythm that we've gotten used to. It’s a busy road, so there’s always the sound of traffic passing by. We aren't big on paperwork or digital files; most of our notes are scribbled on bits of paper or just kept in our heads. We’ve got a couple of old trucks that we use to haul everything around. They aren't much to look at and the paint is peeling, but they get the job done and get us where we need to be. If you stop by, you might find us loading up for the next job or just cleaning the dirt off the shovels at the end of the day. It’s physical work and it’s messy, but we like being outdoors. It’s just a practical base for the gardening work we do around here.
