Indus Machines

We are over on the first floor of Jinabhai Babdi Makan, right in Street Number 9. If you know Varachha, you know it can get pretty crowded with all the small shops and workshops squeezed together. We deal with machines here. It’s mostly metal parts, grease, and trying to figure out why something isn’t running the way it should. Our space isn't very large, but we manage to fit what we need. Usually, the day starts early because the heat gets to be a lot by the afternoon. We spend a lot of time on the floor, literally, checking bolts and making sure the gears are lined up. People from the nearby units stop by when their equipment breaks down or if they need a specific part they can’t find elsewhere. It’s not a glamorous job. Your hands stay dirty most of the day, and there’s always the smell of machine oil in the air. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Some days are spent just waiting for a part to arrive, and other days we’re working late because someone needs their machine back by morning. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how these things go together. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything. Most of our work comes from people just knowing our name and where the building is. It’s straightforward work for people who need things to keep running.
