Himanshu B Ghael

Himanshu B Ghael is tucked away in Gopipura, right beside Vasan. This area has a lot of history and we are glad to be a small part of it. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Most of our work is done by hand. We don't have many machines around here. It's quieter in our corner than it is out on the main streets. We prefer it that way. Customers usually find us by word of mouth. We don’t spend money on flyers or ads. If someone likes what we do, they tell their friends. That is how we have stayed open all these years. You won't find any slick brochures or high-tech screens in our office. It’s just us, some chairs, and the work that needs to be finished. We take a break in the middle of the day for lunch and a short rest. If the shutter is down, just wait a bit or come back later. We don’t rush things because rushing usually leads to mistakes. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. It makes the day go by faster when you’re working for friends. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day. It isn't a job that makes us rich, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy but we still show up. Life in Gopipura is slow and that suits the way we handle things just fine.
