Hemraj & Co.

Hemraj & Co. is our small business located at Door No-7/4329 in Galemandi. We are right across from the electric cabin, which is how most people find us if they haven’t been here before. Darukhana Road is a very busy place, especially with all the commercial vehicles moving in and out all day long. Our shop is quite old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that most of the time. We sell different types of goods and the floor is usually covered with crates or heavy items waiting to be moved. It’s not a place where you’ll find a fancy display or a lot of bright lights. We just keep the stock on the shelves and help people find what they need. My father started this place years ago and I’ve been working here since I was a young man. We know the other shopkeepers around here and we all look out for each other. It gets very hot in the summer, so we keep the big shutters open to catch whatever breeze comes down the street. We don’t have a website or do much on the computer; we prefer talking to people face to face. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting on some stools near the entrance, drinking tea and waiting for the next delivery truck to arrive at our door.
