You can find Madhavji Lalji & Company right by Nehru Gate in the Jakatnaka area. We are located very close to Dicent Footwear. It’s a well-known part of the district and usually quite crowded. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. The building is older, but it has character and it serves us well. We don't really go for the modern, polished look. It’s more about the history of being here at Nehru Gate. Most of the other shop owners nearby are like friends to us now. We see the same faces every day. The company itself is run in a very traditional way. We don't use much technology if we can help it, preferring to do things the way they’ve always been done. It might seem a bit slow to some people, but it works for us. We handle our daily business with a focus on being honest and getting things finished. There’s often a lot of noise from the street outside, but once you step inside, it’s just us doing our work. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than staying open and helping the people who come through our doors. Jakatnaka is the heart of the area for us. If you are looking for us, just head towards the gate and look for the footwear shop nearby. We are right there in the mix. Sometimes we share lunch with the neighbors when it gets a bit quieter around two.
