Our office is at 47/133 on Chappal Bazar Road in Maktampura. As you can probably guess from the name of the street, there are shoe shops everywhere around us. We’ve been at this location for many years, and the building itself is quite old with narrow stairs and high ceilings. It’s a very busy part of town, and the road outside is always full of people, carts, and motorbikes. We deal with bulk supplies, so our space is usually filled with large boxes and heavy bags stacked up to the roof. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and you have to be careful not to trip over anything. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a lobby with air conditioning. We just have a few desks, some old fans that rattle, and a lot of work to do. The atmosphere is loud and energetic because of the market outside. We know the other shopkeepers on Chappal Bazar Road well, and we often share a cup of tea during the slow hours of the afternoon. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down, manage our inventory, and make sure our customers get what they need. It’s a real, hardworking place where we don't worry about looking perfect as long as the work gets finished.
