Our office is located in the Shashank Park Apartment building, specifically in unit F-301. We are right on Adajan Road, which most people in Surat know because it’s near the Gujarat Gas Office. It is a bit of a different setup since we are in an apartment complex rather than a standalone shop on the street. It makes things a little quieter for us, which helps when you are dealing with diamonds. You need to be able to concentrate. We spend our hours looking at stones and handling the logistics of the business. The area around Adajan is usually busy with traffic, especially during the rush hours, but once you get up to the third floor, it’s much calmer. We have been here for some time now. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and big meetings. Usually, it's just us in casual clothes, sitting at the desks and making sure the inventory is correct. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise I guess. We deal with people in the trade mostly. It’s a straightforward operation. No bells or whistles, just a desk, some lights, and a lot of small diamonds to keep track of. It’s a decent place to work and we like being in this part of town. There are plenty of good spots nearby to grab a quick snack during the break. We just keep our heads down and work without too much worry.
