Our location is pretty convenient for people coming from different parts of the city. The society is usually quiet, but once you step inside our workspace, there is plenty of activity. We aren't trying to be the biggest saree shop in the world. We just focus on getting the designs and the fabric right. Most of the time, it’s just us checking the inventory and talking to suppliers. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few people working together. We don’t use any fancy marketing words. We just show the sarees to those who want to see them. Some days the traffic at the Char Rasta is a nightmare, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We like being in this part of Surat. It feels like home to us. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the sarees we sell are decent and the business keeps running. It’s a lot of folding and packing, but we enjoy the daily routine of the shop.
