Genesis Tutorials is based in shops 9 and 10 of the Green Arcade on L.P. Savani Road. This is part of the larger Adajan Road area, right near Trinity Business Park. Using shop spaces for classrooms might seem a bit unusual to some, but it works well for us. We have enough room for several batches of students throughout the day. The location is quite convenient because there are plenty of other shops and businesses around, so it never feels isolated. We focus on the standard subjects that students need help with, from middle school up to the higher grades. Our approach is very basic: we read the chapters, we do the exercises, and we test what was learned. There are no high-tech gadgets or elaborate teaching softwares here. We rely on good old-fashioned textbooks and whiteboards. The noise from L.P. Savani Road can be heard sometimes, but the students are usually busy enough with their work that they don't notice it much. We have been in this spot for a while and have become a small part of the local community. It’s a place where work gets done and kids get the help they need to keep up with their schoolwork. We aren't trying to be the biggest center in Surat; we just want to do a decent job for the families who trust us. It is just us teachers and the kids, working through the syllabus day by day.
