Gem Classes

We are tucked away in Gokulpark Society at HG 1. It is right near the Tasty Restaurant, which is a good landmark if you are coming from the L P Savani Circle area in Adajan. The classroom isn't anything special to look at, just some benches and a whiteboard. We have been teaching here for a while now, and it is mostly just local kids from the neighborhood who come by after their regular school hours. It can get a bit crowded in the small room when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. There is usually a bit of noise from the street, but the students are used to it by now. We focus on the subjects they are struggling with and try to go through the chapters one by one. I usually have a pile of corrected papers on my desk and some chalk dust on my hands. It is a very basic setup. We do not have any fancy marketing or big slogans. Parents just know us from word of mouth or because they live just a few streets away. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a lesson, and the light in the hallway flickers a bit. It is just a normal part of running a small coaching class in Surat. We do what we can with the space we have and try to keep everyone on track with their studies. That is all there is to it.
