Geeta Oil & Paint Co.

Our place, Geeta Oil & Paint Co., is at Plot No. 61/62 in the Industrial Estate in Udhna. We are on Central Road No. 4. If you know where the Quality Silk Mill is, we are just a short walk from there. It is a very industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines and trucks in the background. Our building is quite large since we need to store a lot of drums and heavy cans. The air usually has that heavy scent of oil and fresh paint. It’s a working environment, so don’t expect anything fancy if you visit. We have some stains on our clothes and dirt on our hands most days. That is just the nature of the business. We move a lot of heavy stock around every day. The sun beats down on the metal roof during the day, making it quite warm inside, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. Our office is just a small corner partitioned off with some wood and glass. We do our billing there and keep track of the orders. The road outside is often blocked by big lorries loading up goods from the various factories. It’s a busy, gritty part of town, but it is where we belong. We’ve been in this industrial estate for a long time and know most of the other shop owners nearby.
