City Light Foam House

Out here on City Light Road, things are always moving fast. Our place, City Light Foam House, is tucked into the Shubh Laxmi Complex at L / 17. It’s right near Agarsen Bhavan, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of foam and different materials piled up. It smells like new fabric and factory work in here. The space in Kondhwa Budruk is okay, though we sometimes wish we had a bit more room to move the larger rolls around. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and cutting pieces to the right size for folks. It’s a lot of manual work and your hands get tired by the end of the shift. The lighting in the complex isn’t always the brightest, so we have some extra lamps in the back. Customers usually come in with their own measurements written on scraps of paper. We try to get them what they need without too much fuss. Sometimes we have a chat about the weather or the traffic on City Light Road while we work. The afternoons can get a bit slow, but there is always something to reorganize or a delivery to wait for. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just the actual work area where everything happens. It’s a practical way to run things. We just stay focused on the foam and the tasks at hand. Every single day feels like a repeat.
