Sarvoday Glassware

Sarvoday Glassware is located at 13 Sagrampura. We are right near Kailashnagar and just across from the Shankeshwar Complex. It is an old area and our shop fits right in with the rest of the brick buildings around here. Dealing with glass all day long means we have to be really careful with our hands. One wrong move and something expensive breaks, so we spend a lot of time wrapping things in old newspapers or bits of bubble wrap. The shop is full of boxes and sometimes it is hard to walk through the narrow aisles without bumping into something. We carry all sorts of glass items, from small spice jars to bigger plates and stuff for the kitchen. People come in looking for replacements for things they accidentally broke at home or just something new for their kitchen cabinets. It stays fairly dusty in here because of all the cardboard boxes we have stacked up to the ceiling. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where every single piece is tucked away in the shadows. It can get a bit stressful when a big delivery truck arrives and we have to find space for it all without cracking anything. But we like the work well enough. It is quiet for the most part, except for the sound of clinking glass when we are sorting through the stock.
