Ganesh Hardware

Ganesh Hardware is just a small shop at number 5 in Bhestan. It's nothing special to look at, just a local hardware store where we keep all the basics. We’ve got shelves full of nuts, bolts, tools, and whatever else people in the neighborhood might need for their houses or small repairs. The space is small, so we have to stack things pretty high. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually have it buried somewhere. We open early in the morning and stay open until late because people always seem to realize they need a specific screw right as they’re finishing a job. Bhestan is a growing area, so there’s always someone building or fixing something nearby. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or give us a call if they know us. Dealing with the heat in the afternoons can be tough since the shop faces the sun, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. It’s a simple life running a hardware shop. You talk to a lot of different people every day. Some are contractors, and some are just homeowners trying to fix a leaky tap. We try to give them what they need and move on to the next person. There isn't much more to it than that. We just enjoy being part of the local community and helping out.
