Fairy Fashions

Fairy Fashions is located up on the 1st Floor of the Surat Textile Market, specifically at Shop No 2207 in Block W. The market is a massive place, so you have to head towards Sagrampura Sarbatwala Chowk to get close. We’re on Sachapir Street, which stays pretty active all day long. Being in the textile market means there’s always fabric and thread everywhere. Our shop isn’t the biggest, but we make use of every inch of space. You’ll see rolls of cloth and half-finished work sitting around if you visit. It’s a working shop, not a showroom. We spend most of our hours cutting, sewing, and checking orders. The light in the market isn’t always the best, but we have our lamps. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People from all over the city come through here looking for things. We just stay focused on our own pile of work. We don't have a receptionist or anything; whoever is free just answers the door. It’s a bit chaotic during the peak season, but we manage. Sachapir Street has a lot of character, and we’ve grown to like the rhythm of the market. It’s just a place where we work hard and try to get things done on time. It is a messy job but we like it.
