F A Lokhandwala & Sons is located right on the Ring Road, inside the Kalyan Kutir Society. If you know where Kishore Cold Drink is in Chikuvadi, we are just near that spot. It’s a family name, and we’ve been running things this way for quite a long time. My father and brothers are usually around, making sure things don't fall apart. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and has a lot of history for us. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working on something. The Ring Road stays noisy with trucks and cars all day, but we don't mind the noise much anymore. We handle things as they come. There’s no big corporate structure here, just a few of us making decisions over lunch or a cup of tea. Sometimes we disagree, but that’s what happens when you work with family. The walls have some old photos and the furniture is a bit worn out, but it feels like home to us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’ve stayed put in this corner of Chikuvadi. It’s a straightforward life. We focus on the daily tasks and make sure the customers get what they need without any fuss. No fancy words are needed here.
