Ermes Jewels Llp is on the 4th floor of the Reegus Business Center. Our office number is 402, which is actually just a floor away from some other diamond folks on New City Light Road. Surat is a small world when it comes to this industry. We focus on jewels here, which means we see a lot of finished pieces and loose stones. The New City Light Road area has grown a lot lately and there is always something new opening up. We like being in the middle of it. Our office isn't very large, but it’s organized. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who stop by. We aren't a corporate giant with a big board of directors. It’s just us, a few people who know jewelry, trying to make a living. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the quality of the pieces and handle the transactions. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s a very practical way of working. We enjoy the process of seeing a piece of jewelry go from a drawer to a customer. It’s been our life for a long time and we don't plan on changing how we do things. We just try to be fair and keep our heads down.
