We spend our time working with diamonds, mostly focusing on the wholesale side of things. It is not a glamorous job like people think from the movies. It involves a lot of sorting, grading, and sitting under bright lights. We have been in this office for a while now. The staff here is local and we’ve mostly known each other for years. We like being in Surat because this is where the heart of the diamond world is. Every day brings a new set of stones to look at. We keep our operations pretty low-key. There aren't any big logos or flashy advertisements on our walls. We just focus on the diamonds and making sure our clients get what they asked for. The business centre is a good place to work because it’s professional but not too stuffy. We often grab lunch at the small stalls nearby. It’s a regular life for us. We come in early, do the work, and head home to our families. We take pride in just being consistent and showing up every day to handle the business as best as we can. It’s nothing more and nothing less than a day’s work in the diamond city.
