You’ll find us at 305, V Plaza in the Katargam area. We’ve been here a good while now, right opposite Gajera School. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the school lets out and the kids start heading over this way. The building is a typical commercial one for Surat, and we’re up on the third floor. There is no elevator that stays working all day, so we do a lot of walking. Inside, the place is pretty basic. We’ve got some sturdy benches, a few whiteboards that have seen better days, and a couple of fans that rattle a bit when they’re on high speed. It’s not some fancy corporate center with glass walls. It’s just a place where students come to sit down and get through their lessons. We spend most of our time here from late morning until the sun goes down. Most of us living nearby just walk or ride a scooter to get here. The 395004 area is home for us, and we know most of the families around. We don’t do big advertisements. Usually, people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign while passing by the plaza. We keep a stack of extra notebooks and pens for the kids who forget theirs. It’s a simple routine, day in and day out. We just try to help the kids understand their school work a little bit better than they did yesterday.
